Terms of Service
Last updated: May 13, 2026.
1. Who we are
InspectionReportTemplate.com is an editorial reference library and marketing site operated by InspectorData ("we," "us," "the Company"). Our software product is available at inspectordata.com.
2. What this site provides
This site provides free reference content: inspection report templates, annotated example reports, defect library entries, reporting language guides, and software-comparison material. All content is intended for informational purposes for working home inspectors and the public.
The templates and example reports are provided "as is". They are not legal documents, not jurisdictional certifications, and not a substitute for state-licensed inspector judgment. The user is solely responsible for the accuracy and legal sufficiency of any inspection report produced using our material.
3. Trial program
Starting a free 90-day InspectorData trial is governed by the InspectorData Terms of Service. By signing up through this site, you authorize InspectorData to create a tenant account in your name and to communicate with you about that account via the email address you provide.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape the site at a volume that disrupts service, redistribute downloaded templates for commercial resale, upload PDFs you do not have the rights to, attempt to bypass the public API rate limit, or use the site to send unsolicited communications.
5. Intellectual property
The site design, original photography, defect-library SVG illustrations, and template structures are copyright © 2026 InspectorData. The reporting language, severity-tier framework, and editorial commentary are licensed for free professional use within an inspector's own reports.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with this site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
