Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you submit the free-trial signup form, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, website, your answer to "how did you hear about us," and your current inspection software. We pass that information to InspectorData to create your account.

When you upload a PDF to our public AI-extraction demo, that PDF is held only for the duration of the extraction job and is not retained after the response is returned. We do log the upload event (timestamp, file size, success/failure) for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

When you browse the site, we log standard server-side request data (URL, timestamp, IP, user-agent) and we run Google Analytics (anonymized IP) to understand which pages are visited.

2. What we don't collect

We do not collect payment information on this site. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties. The only data forwarded to a third party is the trial signup form, which goes to InspectorData (our software product).

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, anonymized) and rate-limit tracking. We do not run advertising cookies. We do not run cross-site tracking.

4. Your rights

You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion. Email privacy@inspectordata.com. We respond within 30 days.

EU/UK residents: under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents: under CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of "sale or sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in CCPA/CPRA.

5. Data security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions transmit over TLS to InspectorData's API. We follow industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and noted in a banner on the site for at least 30 days.
